Servo web rendering engine

A high-performance, modular web rendering engine written in Rust, designed for parallelism and memory safety across desktop, mobile, and embedded platforms.

Originally a research project at Mozilla and now an independent effort under Linux Foundation Europe, Servo is a web rendering engine built from the ground up in Rust. It leverages the language’s safety and concurrency features to provide a lightweight, parallelized alternative to traditional engines, supporting modern standards like WebGL and WebGPU. Designed to be highly embeddable and cross-platform, Servo aims to deliver a memory-safe and energy-efficient experience for applications ranging from standard browsers to resource-constrained embedded devices.
